We are looking for volunteers to facilitate our coding classes. Training given - you must have general computer knowledge and the willingness to be police vetted.
Students from many primary schools are benefitting from our coding courses.
Grey Lynn School generously allows us to use their classroom after school and some of the students attend our course.
Te Whanau o Waipareira use our coding course to help students from many schools in the West Auckland region.
If you would like us to provide a course at your school, marae, church or organisation, please send us an email. Some courses are funded or sponsored by local businesses and are free for students.
As the foundation grows, we will be seeking experienced educators to help facilitate and run projects for the Jean Swainson Foundation.
The charity has grown already from simple word of mouth, because the community has seen the need for our innovative, immersive and future planning education ideas.
Experienced educators and computer science individuals will be vital as we grow.
